Set Installed Valve Stem Height

    Today's engines have very little travel on their lifters, this makes it necessary to set the installed height of the valve back to the OEM specifications. We obtain this information from our Prosis Information Database. If you allow an unqualified machine shop to valve job your cylinder head it is likely the stem height will not be set properly causing it to have too much valve clearance (noisy) or not enough valve clearance (burn a valve).
