Competition Multi Angle Valve Job
All of our valve jobs are machined on a Serdi Seat and Guide Machine. A valve is placed in every hole and a vacuum is pulled to check for leakage while the head is still on the machine. If it does not seat properly it is then remachined and revacuum checked.
Our head porter schedules one day each week for research and development. He uses that day to work on seat angles, blend techniques, unshrouding the valves and other areas of the ports. In many of our classes we have cutting inserts ground to specific angles that improve flow. This puts us ahead of our competition that only use pre-ground inserts for their valve jobs.
Many of the classes that we spend a lot of time researching are non-porting classes. They are very sensitive to the type of valve job they receive.
