Magnaflux for Cracks

     Extremely  cold winter days takes its toll on many blocks. People forget to test  their cooling systems and let the antifreeze level get too low. This allows water to freeze in the blocks water jackets. When water freezes it expands pushing out until the sides of the block crack.

    These Cracks can be very hard to see so to make them more visible we use a specially designed electro-magnet and a ferrous based powder that attracts itself to the crack.

    We magnaflux every block and head that comes out of the hot tank.

    When we find cracks we then decide the best procedure to repair them. Most cracks can be repaired.
